Workshop Equipment

CoolDrive Auto Parts continues to prove itself as a partner of choice for workshops, with a range of Bosch Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration equipment now available.

“With ADAS becoming more and more common on new vehicles on our roads, there is an increased need for quality equipment that is capable of adjusting and calibrating these systems,” said Matthew Douglass, Category Manager – Tools and Equipment at CoolDrive Auto Parts.

“The Bosch ADAS equipment range is one of the most reputable in the industry and we are pleased to have it available at CoolDrive.

“Made for collision repair shops, mechanical and auto electrical workshops alike, the Bosch ADAS offering is equipment our customers can trust to calibrate the vehicle correctly with its wide coverage and easier set-up making the job faster than ever before.”

ADAS systems on a vehicle are extensive and include Electric Control Units (ECUs) for safety control such as Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), a central computing unit for sensor data fusion, as well as units for engine, transmission, brake and lighting control.

Newer vehicles are also increasingly equipped with a wide range of ADAS cameras such as front cameras for lane assist, speed limit displays, adaptive lights and rain/sun sensors, as well as surround view cameras for rear and 360-degree views, and infrared cameras for night vision.

ADAS also cover a range of sensors such as LIDAR for ACC, lane assist and stop-go function, front radar sensors for ACC and stop-go function too, and emergency brake assist, as well as corner and steering angle sensors.

Heading the Bosch ADAS Equipment range at CoolDrive is the DAS 3000 S20, its newest universal computer-based calibration and adjustment device for ADAS, which is complemented by the SCT815 corner reflector target and carrier for calibration of radar sensors.

Also available is Bosch’s KTS Diagnostic Scan Tool range and its ESI[tronic] diagnostic software, which works in conjunction with the DAS 3000.

Bosch’s calibration solutions are compliant with OEM requirements with targets for most vehicle manufacturers.
In conjunction with Bosch, CoolDrive also hosts ADAS and Diagnostic-focused training at some of its regular Specialist Training Events and through the Bosch Technical Training program.
