New to range LED highbay lights from OEX

Workshop Equipment

Using LED lighting can be cost-effective and power-efficient solution that will help with rising costs and OEX have now added  two extra options to their Highbay LED range, these are the OEX LLX4110 a linear light and OEX LLX4105 a 150-watt light,  which add to the original 200-watt version.

The Linear light is ideal for use above workbenches or where a directed source of light is needed for ceilings up to eight  metres, it puts out 11,625 lumens. The 150-watt Highbay light produces 22,000 lumens (compared to 28.700 for the 200-watt  version) and suits ceilings up to 10 metres vs the 15 metres for the 200-watt version.

High bay workshop lights are not front of mind, but the older style Halide and Halogen lights are inefficient and have relatively  short lives.

All of these are simple plug-in replacements for older style halide and halogen lights.

They are a no-maintenance lighting solution. There is no need to replace globes or spare parts, and the robust die-cast  aluminium housings are sealed to a weatherproof IP65 rating, keeping out moisture and dust and aiding heat dissipation.

They plug into a standard 240v socket and have a life of around 50,000 hours. If operated for 60 hours per week, this equates to up to 16 years maintenance-free life for a single purchase. They come in Bright White 5,700K colour temperature rating for crisp white light while reducing energy consumption and lowering your electricity bill. They are much brighter than halide  lights, meaning that less lights are required to light a workshop space.

Another benefit of LED high bay lights is the ‘instant  on’ characteristic. Older Halide lights have a warm up period where the brightness increases to operating levels. LED has  access to their full capability instantaneously.

The OEX High Bay lights from NAPA come with a three-year warranty.
