Speed up your wheel balancing accuracy

Speed up your wheel balancing accuracy

Workshop Equipment

When balancing a wheel on a balancer it can be hard to centralise using a traditional cone mounting, with a risk of not balancing the wheel correctly and in some instances damaging the wheel. Up to 70 percent of balancing issues are due to clamping issues.

The SpeedPlate uses a bolt type system, that can be easily configured for different bolt set ups allowing you to centralise the wheel quickly and more accurately. The mounting system is via the lugs eliminating potential for damage to the wheels.

SpeedPlate has a number of advantages.

It is light weight, easy to use, and durable.

It is the only adjustable adaptor on the market that can be held and adjusted with one hand, you rotate one gear to adjust, and it locks automatically.

Mounts the wheel to the machine the same way it mounts to vehicle.

Fast, no pre-adjustment required for correct bolt pattern.

Balances the wheels lug centrically giving you the most accurate balancing results possible while preventing damage to expensive wheels and eliminating customer comebacks for rebalance.

Gears are designed to release from the plate if it is dropped on a concrete floor to avoid damage. Simply snap back on and it’s ready to use again without losing accuracy.

Works on any balancers with 40mm threaded shafts and power clamp shafts. Reducing sleeves are available for smaller balancer shafts.

Fits 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 lug wheels.

The SpeedPlate will also potentially save you money by reducing the cost of rework from customers coming back for rebalance or damaged wheels and saves time for your and tyre technicians chasing weights.

SpeedPlate EBA is available from NAPA Auto Parts and Repco, contact your local rep to find out more.
