What is Rapid Recharge Technology (RRT)?
Professional jump starters get quite a workout each day which means you need a reliable, fast-charging jump starter that you can rely on. Projecta Jump Starters feature revolutionary technology called Rapid Recharge Technology (RRT). By leaving the jump starter connected to the vehicle battery for just 40 seconds after starting the car the jump starter will recharge to the state that it was pre-jump start, meaning that it can be ready to start the next vehicle straight away.

Projecta uses a special Lithium Iron Phosphate battery (LiFePO4) which can absorb a much higher current charge compared to other lithium and lead acid batteries. The lithium iron phosphate battery also means a longer operational life – up to 1800 battery cycles – which is up to four times higher than competitor products.

What Projecta RRT product is best for my workshop?
All workshops need a professional jump starter, therefore NAPA recommends the 12V 1500A Professional Jump Starter (search part number IS1500 in NAPA ProLink). It is suitable for workshops and roadside assistance. Fully charged, the IS1500 can jump start 110 petrol or 21 diesel vehicles, using only RRT to recharge after use. The Projecta Jump Starter does come with a 240V charging dock which should be used to increase the battery life further (by up to 20 percent).
The IS1500 features include:
•    700A clamp output
•    550mm cable length
•    Premium Spark-Free clamps
•    LED indicators to monitor the jump starter’s charge levels
•    Docking station
•    Starts up to 8.0L petrol and 6.0L diesel engines
•    IP65 rating
You can also access this revolutionary RRT in smaller compact home-use jumpstarters IS920 and IS1220
