Navistar Auspac Pty has announced the promotion of Glen Sharman to director of sales, marketing and business development for New Zealand, Australia, and Pacific markets.

Sharman’s appointment comes as Navistar Auspac, a fully-owned subsidiary of Navistar Inc., continues to build the foundation for an expansion of its operations in the New Zealand and Australian markets.

“Glen has been with Navistar since the launch of the Cat Trucks brand in 2010, and is the ideal appointment for this role,” said Tom Clevinger, senior vice president and general manager, Global Operations, Navistar.

“Glen is highly regarded throughout the Navistar and the Caterpillar dealer network for his passion and strategic thinking, and we are extremely fortunate to have an executive with Glen’s skills and commitment to drive the business forward in a professional and dedicated manner.”

Previously Navistar Auspac’s business and brand development manager, Sharman was critical to the successful introduction of Cat On-Highway Trucks in the region.
