Eviction time for 2020

Eviction time for 2020

Ed Speak

I am sure there won’t be many who will be sorry to draw a line under the year 2020 – its been a pretty s#*t year for most people and whilst New Zealand has been less affected than most countries many people have lost their jobs, businesses and are operating on close to empty emotionally – especially small business owners.

Whilst 2021 won’t miraculously erase the problems, it does look brighter with New Zealand seemly having much better systems to control small outbreaks and a vaccine now more than just a hope, even if the logistics will mean it will be late in 2021 before significant parts of the population can be vaccinated.

The automotive repair industry finds itself busy, many repairers are running at or beyond capacity with catch-up work from the lockdowns and the surge of delayed warrants, it is also likely that as in previous economic downturns, as new car sales slow, people will spend more time and money keeping their vehicles maintained and in good condition as they stretch their lifespans.

We hope you all get time to take a decent break to recharge your batteries for 2021. Best wishes for the festive season.
