Automechanika Shanghai

Automechanika Shanghai

News

Automechanika Shanghai is the second largest of the worldwide series of Automechanika fairs, it is held annually in December (November 30 - December 3 in 2016), and while not as large as the bi-annual Automechanika Frankfurt, it is more accessible for New Zealanders, and obviously has a large contingent of exhibitors and visitors from the Asia region.

The 2015 Fair had 5,395 exhibitors from 39 countries and 109,686 visitors from 140 countries with around 280,000 sq.m of space (by comparison Frankfurt in 2014 had 4,660 exhibitors, 138,000 visitors and 300,000 sq.m) so it is a substantial show in its own right.

The show encompasses, parts and components, repair and maintenance, accessories and customising, and electronics and systems. For this year’s show highlights are the connectivity zone and electronics and systems sector.

Visitors who complete on-line pre-registration by September 30 receive free admission.
