Abro vice president Tim Demarais has travelled the world for Abro Industries during the past 41 years, and last month he added two more countries to his travel list as he made his inaugural visit to both New Zealand and Australia after the Canton Trade Fair in Guangzhou, China
Tim spent several days in Auckland visiting their exclusive Abro distributor, Automotive Supplies NZ, Ltd. (ASL) which has been in business for more than 40 years. Tim met with managing director, Murray Eade, who showed him their impressive new office and warehouse facilities.
ASL does business throughout New Zealand, and is one of the largest privately-owned Kiwi automotive aftermarket parts importers and distributors. Tim was very impressed with the solid management team in place at ASL, and said Abro certainly has a bright future in New Zealand.
ASL’s Abro sales are increasing and theompany plans to launch several different promotional campaigns to stimulate additional Abro business.
The first of these promotions “V8 Supercars Money Can’t Buy Experience” launched on July1 through Autostop and Extreme Automotive Part Distributors offering their trade account customers the chance to win corporate double passes from each branch to experience the V8 Supercars ITM500 Auckland Event at Pukekohe on November 6-8.
Prize includes double passes to their corporate tent located directly above the pits, lunch, morning and afternoon teas, refreshments, exclusive pit tours, meet the driver sessions, photos with glamorous promo girls and for some lucky customers grid walks before the start of the main races.
Every $50 spent on Abro products using an Autostop or Extreme Trade Account between July 1 and September 30 will earn one ticket in the draw, with 52 corporate passes to be won, and winners at every branch.
In addition, Abro Australia is sponsoring a race car for the V8 Super Car Race Series which has created a significant amount of exposure for the Abro brand name in Australia and New Zealand.
