This will be good news for New Zealand engine builders and aftermarket users as availability of product will be easier and product information more readily available for particular applications.
The establishment of a warehouse and staffing of a New Zealand base is an important step for Threebond to complement the efforts of the existing New Zealand distributor NZ Gaskets and the reseller network .
Threebond has specialised in OEM applications of high quality liquid gasket products since 1958. Produced in association with vehicle manufacturer’s engineers, and the development of products in conjunction with its own and privateer Formula 3 racing team in partnership with Britains T-Sport, and as well as a partnership in Japan with the Nissan Technical College’s Nissan GTR Skyline, Threebond products are at the forefront of liquid gasket technology.
The client base at OEM level is a “Who’s who” of the industry, with Toyota, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, GM, Honda, Mazda and many others.
The Threebond Engine Conditioner for diesel and petrol vehicles has proven to be the “in-demand“ product for the last five years due to tighter emission laws.
The requirement to lower emissions has increased the amount of carbon build up in engines and the need to prevent carbon build up as well as clean throttle bodies, manifolds, EGR valves and the combustion chamber, to ensure normal performance and economy. Normal tuning of an engine is useless if carbon is choking internal areas.
Threebond’s opening of a warehouse in NZ will ensure good stock of product to support the rapid growth in demand in New Zealand.
