Repco tradies win big

News

Thanks to Repco’s ‘Win the Ultimate Workshop Fit-out’ competition, the owners of a local Christchurch auto workshop, Beach Road Tyre & Auto, have won big, walking away with an $8,000 prize.
As part of a nationwide promotion, Repco invited trade customers to enter the draw for a major prize package.
Up for grabs was a choice between a complete workshop makeover; featuring a hoist, air compressor, MIG welder, water blaster, 90 year toolkit and air tools; or $150 worth of grocery vouchers every week for a year; or $8,000 to spend on travel.
Choosing the prize was a tough decision for Christchurch locals Nick and Jane Coultas, owners of Beach Road Tyre & Auto, who were overwhelmed to be the ultimate winners of the grand prize.
“We couldn’t believe it when we got the phone call and were given the choice of such amazing prizes. We were left speechless,” says Nick Coultas.
The couple plan to spend their travel vouchers on their annual break to tropical Fiji. “The travel vouchers are the perfect prize for us, we like to get away each year to Fiji and this time we’ll be able to take the kids. When we told them the good news they were thrilled,” says Nick.
Nick and Jane have owned their workshop for 22 years and have been loyal Repco customers since starting the business in 1991.
“Our trade customers mean a great deal to us. We wanted to thank them for their loyalty by offering them something that would be really meaningful,” says Repco New Zealand general manager sales and operations.
A further 50 trade customers from across the country were treated by Repco, winning valuable tools for their garages. Twenty tool chests, 15 air impact wrenches and 15 cordless impact wrenches were handed out to delighted recipients.
“We had a great response to the multi-prize draw with 51 very happy winning customers. We’re looking forward to our next trade customer promotion, part of our ongoing commitment to providing not only the best parts but also the best experience to Repco customers,” says Johnathon Maddren.
