NAPA, the official automotive trade partner of the Repco NextGen NZ Championship, has also been confirmed as the title sponsor of the 70th New Zealand Grand Prix event in 2026.
The blockbuster event to be held at Highlands Motorsport Park between January 30-February 1 is set to be one of the largest domestic motorsport events in New Zealand in 2026.
NAPA’s involvement extends their involvement in New Zealand Motorsport as a whole, building on existing relationships with Formula Ford, Central Muscle Cars and NZ Super Truck Racing, among others.
NAPA is a trusted trade supplier of aftermarket vehicle products and the destination for market-leading brands and industry know-how. Dedicated to supplying the right parts, tools and equipment for the job, NAPA serves mechanical, auto-electrical, specialist and commercial customers across New Zealand.
The NAPA 70th New Zealand Grand Prix event will serve as the culmination of the 2025/6 Castrol Toyota Formula Regional Oceana Trophy, which will pit a host of young stars from New Zealand, Australia and around the world head-to-head in an intense, four-week, 15-race championship that could help unearth a future Formula One World Champion.
To be held at Highlands Motorsport Park in Cromwell for the fourth consecutive year, as well as the headlining Grand Prix the event will include action from the Summerset GT New Zealand Championship, Bridgestone GR86 Championship, TA2 New Zealand Championship and more.
Several key on and off-track activations are in the planning stages in conjunction with NAPA to celebrate the remarkable history of the New Zealand Grand Prix that dates to 1950.
