AS-PL: Excellence in automotive parts and electrical components

Parts

AS-PL is a European company specialising in the supply of vehicle parts and electrical components, operating since 1992. Our core products include alternators and starters, available in 12V, 24V, and 48V variants.

Our team comprises over 400 skilled professionals, and we collaborate with aftermarket distributors and wholesalers of  vehicle spare parts and accessories worldwide.

The company headquarters is located in Gdańsk, with a state- of-the-art production facility in Lubichowo, both in Poland.

Our dynamic growth led to the establishment of AS-PL UK Ltd. in 2017, catering to the British market. In 2023, the UK office was relocated to Liverpool and expanded with a large warehouse. Additionally, in November 2019, an Italian branch was opened in Moncalieri near Turin, followed by the launch of an AS-PL office in Valencia, Spain, in February 2022. Altogether,  our facilities encompass 20,000 m² of office and warehouse space.

Product Offering
AS-PL currently offers nearly 30,000 distinct products, with a total of approximately 1,000,000 reference numbers. This  extensive portfolio ensures our customers have access to a comprehensive selection of original parts and cost-effective alternatives. Our product range serves various markets, including passenger cars, lorries, agricultural machinery, boats, motorcycles, and the industrial sector.

The “AS” Brand and Remanufacturing
In 2004, AS-PL introduced products under its proprietary “AS” brand. Alongside offering original products and replacements at favourable prices, AS-PL specialises in remanufactured products. The remanufacturing process takes place at our Lubichowo Production Plant, utilizing advanced equipment and adhering to high-quality norms and assembly standards. Our  growing remanufactured product range now includes over 1,000 types of alternators and starters, consistently available.

Besides the remanufacturing, the Production Plant is equipped with cutting-edge assembly, testing, and packaging lines  together with storage and administrative space. It features innovative machinery supplied by leading manufacturers such as  Canadian D&V Electronics (ST-16, ST-24, ST-116, ALT-98, ALT-198) and Dutch Motoplat, ensuring the highest quality of AS- PL products.

Quality Assurance
All AS-PL products undergo rigorous testing procedures to meet the most stringent standards for assembly and technical  parameters.

Supplying reliable products tailored to current market expectations while using state- of-the-art technologies is  the company’s most important goal and mission.

As part of our dedication to quality, AS-PL operates under an ISO 9001:2015 compliant management system. In 2018, we successfully passed an audit verifying compliance with this international standard.

100 percent of the alternators and starters offered by AS-PL are tested on specialist machinery, with test results included in the product packaging.

Industry Recognition and Memberships
AS-PL is a proud member of the Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) and the Association of Distributors and Manufacturers of Automotive Parts (SDCM). Since 2018, our products have been featured in prestigious catalogues such as MAM Software Autocat v8 and TecDoc.
