Mount Shop to purchase George Stock’s automotive division

Mount Shop is to purchase George Stocks’ Automotive division, which will see Mount Shop taking over the agencies for Koni, KYB, King Springs, H&R Springs and Transteering Steering & Suspension Parts. Super Pro polyurethane bushings will also be available from Mount Shop.

These are long-established names in New Zealand and customers will recognise what they stand for: quality you can count on and reliability as a standard feature.

“We are looking forward to giving these brands more exposure through our national network,” says Mount Shop’s director Hemi Toia.

“These brands are certainly worthy of that, and our team is extremely enthusiastic about having these additional quality brands now available to complement our existing product lines. I’m sure customers will also reap the rewards from having more of these quality brands readily available through our outlets.”

All these brands are premium product names ones, which fit in with the core principles Mount Shop was first founded on: quality products, good service, expert knowledge and the latest ranges.

A specialist must know what it is he’s selling and that it’s going to work and work reliably.

“Our guys at the front counter are trusted by our customers and they have a well-deserved reputation, as does Mount Shop.

“We’re excited to have these quality brands on board and – with what we already have available – having Koni, KYB, King Springs, H&R Springs, Super Pro polyurethane bushings along with Transteering Steering & Suspension Parts, all adds up to Mount Shop having the complete under-car product range.”

“This allows us to offer a wider range of quality products to an expanded customer base.

“Classic cars, off-roaders, heavier duty, speciality and older vehicles which make up the national fleet, they all require suspension parts which we will be able to supply thanks to an increased catalogue,” enthuses Hemi. “Like most of my staff, I’m a car guy and passionate about the industry and to have these brands in-house is a new step for the company.”

The official handover happens on January 31, 2024.

Please contact Hemi directly if you have any queries regarding the transition from George Stock to Mount Shop.
