Auckland City BMW – dedicated to BMW and Mini parts

Parts

Auckland City BMW is the only dealer in the top part of the North Island that is also a Capricorn supplier, covering from the top of the North Island to Palmerston North. As the largest New Zealand BMW dealership, they also carry the largest parts range and their proximity to the BMW New Zealand main parts warehouse in East Tamaki with three times a day parts dispatches, helps them facilitate rapid parts deliveries.

They have a dedicated parts team of 11 staff, is headed by Michelle Bates – General Manager of Aftersales, Tim Johnston – Assistant Parts Manager & Justin Chong – Business Development Manager of Parts. Justin won the BMW Group New Zealand Parts Advisor of the year in 2019.

Within Auckland they have their own parts delivery van plus a range of other delivery options.

As well as the expected range of mechanical, service and panel parts they also have an extensive range of accessories, upgrades and BMW Lifestyle products. They also carry an extensive range of tyres suitable for all BMW and Mini models (many of which have less common sizings), at competitive pricing, often having better availability than some mainstream tyre suppliers.

Auckland City BMW only stock genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) BMW and MINI (and Rolls-Royce!) parts, which are covered by a 2-year warranty. They can supply parts for vehicles up to 15 years old (and in some cases older with some parts for the iconic 2002 model still available). If the part is not available from their stock or BMW New Zealand, they can order from BMW Asia Pacific in Malaysia or BMW Germany.

Justin outlines the advantages of getting your BMW Parts from Auckland City BMW as:

• The 2-year parts warranty.

• You are buying the BMW brand with the quality that goes with that.

• You are preserving the authenticity of the client’s vehicle.

• You are keeping the vehicle original.

He says, “As a company, we are solely dedicated to BMW and MINI vehicles and with our 50 years of experience, we have a wealth of expertise and knowledge around these vehicles. Our aim is to give you exceptional service and value for money on any BMW or MINI parts you may require.”

Another advantage is that their team comes from a range of backgrounds, which provides well rounded expertise to provide great customer service as each member brings a different strength. They receive regular training from BMW including training with BMW Australia and more recently virtual international training due to Covid restrictions on travel to ensure they keep up with developments.
