Penrite squares out its offering

Innovation comes in all shapes and sizes, and Australian lubricants manufacturer Penrite Oil is showcasing its new ‘cube’ packaging family with the latest introduction of a 20-litre square pack size.
Unveiled in early July, the 20L pack is available across more than 30 of Penrite’s top-selling products, including engine, gear and hydraulic oils. The range is expected to grow over the coming months.
The 20L cube joins the existing 10L variant, and the recently launched seven-litre cube. Penrite state the seven-litre pack is designed to accommodate ever-growing vehicle sump capacity, with this volume being suitable for close to five million vehicles on Australian roads.
The cube replaces the outgoing 20L drum, which Penrite states offers increased strength and greater stability over the circular design. The cube is also more stackable than before, allowing less wasted floorspace in workshops.
Additionally, all products in the cube family range are supplied with Penrite’s free Flexi-Nozzle, which extends up to 300mm in length. An integrated breather tube ensures anti-glug pouring whilst increasing the flow rate greatly. For convenience, a bung for inserting a tap is also featured.
“We’ve been able to address a number of issues with the old design and correct them with the new pack,” said David Kirby, marketing manager for Penrite Oil.
“The cube offers greater structural integrity, combined with a smaller footprint; all while being easier to transport and handle,” he said.
Penrite’s 7, 10 and 20-litre cube range is now available at all leading auto and lubricant retailers.
