Truck Investments Group has appointed Ray Roberts as General Manager Hino Distributors, effective from December 1st 2012.
Ray was the sales general manager for Truck Stops and also covered the role of service general manager. Ray continued in the role until December to complete projects and ensure a smooth handover to the new Truck Stops GM Service Steve Corkery, who started in October.
“During his time with Truck Stops, Ray has become familiar with the Hino product and has worked with many of the key Hino customers,” says Truck Investments Group general manager John Keenan. “This, combined with his knowledge of the back end of our business will enable Ray and the existing team to drive Hino to new heights.”
In the interim, and as previously announced for Hino leadership roles, Graham McNabb will continue as National Sales Manager and Graeme Taylor will continue to manage the Technical and Warranty Division as well as overseeing the product support, modification Centre, logistics division operations and the day to day administration at HDL Head Office.
“Ray is looking forward to the challenge of driving Hino to a market-leading position in the 9000kg plus segment,” says John Keenan.
