The grounds of the Airforce Museum at Wigram is again the venue for the annual All Ford Day, a massive collection and display of all the great Ford models across the years, from the vintage and veteran models, to superb collector examples of the iconic Anglia’s, Escort’s, Cortina’s, Capri’s, Falcon’s, Zephyr’s and Zodiac’s, Mustangs and much more.

The Canterbury Mustang Owners Club is again organising Canterbury’s All Ford Day on Sunday February 16. Every year the All Ford Day receives great support and participation from the large number of Ford model clubs around Canterbury, plus from a very large number of individual Ford enthusiasts who are regular attendees.  It’s a once-a-year display not to be missed!

Every Ford enthusiast who owns a rare or special Ford is encouraged to come along and display their car.....you do not need to be a member of a Ford car club. The All Ford Day is the opportunity to bring out that special Ford and show it with pride. You might even win one of the sought-after top ten trophies, or one of the many cups that are very much part of the All Ford Day tradition, covering Best English, American, Australian, Veteran, Vintage, Best in Show and People Choice. All Ford Day is very much a celebration!  And it costs only $5 for participating cars and drivers.

The showcase of Ford’s heritage models across the years will be supplemented by an eye-catching display of the very latest Ford models, including the latest high performance Mustangs, and NZ’s number one selling vehicle line, the great looking Ranger pick-ups,  and more.

From a spectator’s view, the All Ford Day display has something for everyone, whether it’s a walk down memory lane amongst the iconic Ford’s of yester-year, or the chance to drool over some legendary and rare high performance models. Plus, there’s the chance to chat with the owners and swap stories about Ford. Coffee, food, merchandise stalls, and prize basket raffles also feature. And it’s all great value, with an entry cost of only $5 per person (or $10 per car load). Children are free.

And there’s more! This year’s All Ford Day goes further, with the chance for someone to win a Ford for just $5. This is a special raffle, limited to only 2500 tickets, drawn on the day, and someone will win a sporty 2005 Ford Focus Zetec, fully equipped with 2.0L fuel injected engine, 4 airbags, alloy wheels, near new tyres and good service history. The Canterbury Mustang Owners Club uses the All Ford Day as a major event to support our local community, with this year’s going to Riding for the Disabled and the NZ  Airforce  Museum Trust.
