Emergency and work vehicles won’t have any trouble being seen on New Zealand roads when they are equipped with these streamlined Aeromax LED mini light boxes from Narva.
The new Aeromax is the latest in an expanding emergency lighting range released by Narva to match the requirements of 21st Century vehicles and their users. They’ve been developed to combine style and functionality in a compact design while still providing superior light output.
The space age-styled, premium Aeromax boxes are available in 12/24V and offer performance that exceeds SAE Class 1 requirements, making them ideal for a broad range of emergency applications including roadside service work, local government maintenance vehicles and for use with commercial construction vehicles.
“The beauty of the new Aeromax is that they are so much more compact than traditional light boxes, which means they can be used in a wider variety of applications, without compromising performance,” says Tim Paterson, sales manager for Narva New Zealand.
Produced in two sizes (200mm and 365mm) and with a height of only 47mm, the compact design provides a sleek and modern appearance while ensuring the lights are less likely to be damaged in low clearance areas. The new light boxes can even be used in pairs to replace traditional rotating beacons or to deliver a mini light bar solution.
The 200mm models feature 10 x 3 high-powered LEDs, while the 365mm variants make use of 14 x 3 high-powered LEDs for even greater light output. In spite their high power output, the new Narva Aeromax mini light boxes only draw minimal current: just 1.6A at 12V or 0.8A at 24V for 200mm variants, and 1.9A at 12V or 0.9A at 24V for 365mm models.
All lights feature eight selectable flash patterns: Single (constantly on), Double (all flashing), Ultra (alternate flashing), Ultra (cross flashing), Quint Rotating, Rotating, Ultra (alt/alt flash) and Ultra-Double (all flashing).
Customers can opt for either a clear or amber lens, both utilising amber LED bulbs. All lenses are constructed from tough, virtually unbreakable polycarbonate, while LEDs are covered by a 5-year warranty.
Mounting the light boxes is a simple process, with two options provided. For permanent mounting and hardwiring, selected models come complete with a flange base with low profile mounting brackets.
Alternatively, some variants provide ceramic disc magnets with rubber protective covers to prevent damage to the vehicle. These models are provided with a convenient three-metre long lead and cigarette lighter plug with integrated ‘off/on’ and flash pattern selector switch.
Narva’s Aeromax LED Mini Light Boxes are available from leading automotive and transport outlets throughout New Zealand.
