Shine up for The Expo

Shine up for The Expo

News

The Show ‘n’ Shine competition returns to the Transport and Heavy Equipment Expo (THE Expo) in March 2013, and with an impressive prize pool up for grabs, it is urging truck drivers to enter.
Organisers of The Expo says that the Show ‘n’ Shine is a competition that gives truck drivers a chance to shine up their rigs and show off the artwork and lights which transform a truck into a piece of art.
The competition is an initiative that not only encourages industry support, but recognises the hard work and pride that truck drivers have in their trucks.
The Show ‘n’ Shine competition is a free-to-view public event held on Saturday March 9th just outside the main entrance to THE Expo at Mystery Creek Events Centre, Hamilton.
Interested parties have until Friday February 15th to complete the online registration form at www.theexpo.co.nz.
THE Expo is held every four years at Mystery Creek Events Centre, home of NZ National Fieldays, and is a showcase of the transport, heavy equipment, freight, forestry, construction and associated trades.
It is the only event in New Zealand where heavy equipment owners can network, purchase equipment and check out new developments in the industry, all at the one location.
The event takes place March 7-9 2013 and includes seminars, training and recruitment area, Live Drive, Power and Performance Zone plus a vintage and classic trucks area which will be hosted by television presenter Bill Hohepa.
Free tickets to THE Expo are available for trade and industry members who pre-register on www.theexpo.co.nz. General admittance tickets will be sold at the gate during the event.
The Mystery Creek Events Centre team organises THE Expo with the support and input from industry associations; Motor Industry, NZ Truck-Trailer Manufacturers Federation and NZ Equipment Suppliers Association.
