Australian lubricant manufacturer Penrite Oil continues to grow its award-winning Enviro Box range, with the introduction of Enviro+ C3 5W-30 full synthetic engine oil.

Originally launched in 2017, the Enviro Box has received industry commendation for the 85 percent reduction in landfill waste, providing workshops with a safer, convenient and more environmentally responsible lubricant packaging option.

The fully recyclable outer cardboard box easily compresses flat and can be disposed of into a regular paper waste material bin, while the plastic inner bladder is collected to be washed, shredded and remade into new bladder material.

Penrite has announced the Enviro Box range will now incorporate Enviro+ C3. This premium 5W-30 full synthetic diesel engine oil meets and exceeds many manufacturer specifications and is blending using the latest advances in Mid SAPS (sulphated ash, phosphorous and sulphur) additive technology.

Enviro+ C3 is designed for use in four, six and eight+ cylinder multi-cam, multi-valve, naturally aspirated, supercharged and turbocharged low emission engines including those fitted with/without DPFs (diesel particulate filters).

The high performance base oil prevents sludge formations and offers reduced piston deposits for maximum engine efficiency.

Offering extended engine oil drain intervals, Enviro+ C3 also provides improved fuel economy of up to 2.6 percent, with ACEA C3 wear protection. It also features MB-Approval 229.52 and is suitable for use in vehicles such as BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Holden/GM, Hyundai, Jeep, Nissan and many more.
