Fuchs has recently released a new version of it’s most popular engine oil, the Titan GT1 Flex 23 5w-30. The new Titan SYN C23 is an Ultra High Performance 5W-30 oil for the many vehicles requiring the common ACEA C2/C3 and API SP standard.
It has many of the premium features of the Titan GT1 Flex oil, but caters for workshops that still require a high-quality oil but don’t require the OEM approvals of the Flex line, which add to the cost, making it an ideal second-tier option with significant cost savings.
The GT1 Flex range continues as FUCHS’ leading premium performance product with OEM approvals and impending upgrade to the latest 2025 API SQ specification. With the combination of ACEA C2 and C3 and a range of OEM approvals TITAN GT1 FLEX 23 5W-30 suits a wide range of new vehicles. It is also advantageous for modern downsizing engines and engines with start-stop systems as well as exhaust gas after treatment systems such as catalysts or particulate filters.

TITAN SYN C23 5W-30 is an advanced SAE 5W-30 all-season, fuel economy, engine oil specially formulated for gasoline and diesel engines independent of normally aspirated or turbo-charged in passenger car and light duty vehicle applications. TITAN SYN C23 5W-30 was designed based on selected high-quality base oils and an especially developed additive technology. TITAN SYN C23 5W-30 provides high levels of wear protection, engine cleanliness and protects engine components from deposits, varnish, and corrosion.
TITAN SYN C23 5W-30 is miscible and compatible with conventional, branded engine oils. However, mixing with other engine oils should be avoided in order to fully exhaust this product’s benefits. A complete oil drain is recommended when converting to TITAN SYN C23 5W-30.
It is currently available in 205L drums with smaller pack sizes expected soon.
A significant advantage for workshops who use FUCHS oil, is that as a trade-only brand they can avoid some of the unhelpful price comparisons that consumers make with the many retail brands they are often exposed to.
