Automotive Supplies NZ Ltd, says it may be the new guy on the block when it comes to importing batteries, However it has been importing and reselling quality products to the automotive trade throughout New Zealand for more than 35 years.
Earlier this year ASL was appointed as the exclusive distributor of Bosch batteries in New Zealand. The appointment has strengthened the relationship with Bosch and broadens ASL’s product offer to the aftermarket.
ASL says the Bosch battery program has been well accepted in New Zealand and resellers and trade workshops that have taken up the program are finding that selling a high quality product, with a well respected brand name at competitive prices has increased not only their turnover but their profit margin.
Modern vehicles place enormous strain on batteries. Features such as electric windows, air conditioning, navigation systems, and ABS have the potential to reduce battery life considerably. As a leader in automotive electrical technology, Bosch says it has kept pace with these developments and provides a range of batteries which meet the demands of modern vehicles.
The Bosch battery program offers comprehensive market coverage within a compact program. Three levels of performance are available, each colour coded to make selecting the right battery easy.
Bosch says its S3 batteries are an economical option for a wide range of passenger and commercial vehicles, while the S4 batteries provide superior starting power and are suitable for most passenger vehicles.
Bosch says its S5 batteries are manufactured with Silver Alloy technology to ensure the highest levels of starting power in even the most extreme conditions.
All Bosch batteries are maintenance free and feature either calcium-calcium or calcium-silver technology to deliver superior starting power in all conditions.
The Bosch range also includes a number of high-cycle batteries for specific marine use. High-cycle batteries provide high levels of starting power while still supporting the use of on-board electrical instruments. These features are crucial in the harsh marine environments of New Zealand.
In a competitive market, Bosch says it name stands out as one that represents quality and cutting edge technology. Bosch has been
manufacturing batteries since 1927 when battery ignition for motor vehicles was first introduced and has built a reputation that gives a customer confidence. The three-tiered program also provides an opportunity to up sell to those customers looking for a higher level of performance.
Bosch batteries are available from Automotive Supplies, Autostop, Extreme Parts Distributors, Undercar & Commercial and a large number of other outlets.
