Loud and proud at Speedshow 2010

Motorsport

The recently held Speedshow 2010 at Auckland’s ASB showground’s catered to all types of motoring and motorsport enthusiast. It was petrol head heaven for a weekend.

MEN publisher Adrenalin Publishing were proud to be associated with the event, with the red carpet rolled out on stand 80 for the NZ4WD magazine display featuring  Rana Horan’s successful ‘Big Black’ off-road racing machine.

Regardless of whichever category was of interest to the show goers – there was one for everyone. The halls of the ASB show grounds were awash in classic and contemporary European, Japanese, Australian or American performance cars, 4x4s, hot rods, and motorcycles, some were modified extensively or totally original.

Racing cars, dragsters, off-road racers and also the tools and equipment and safety gear needed to run a successful race campaign were also displayed by various exhibitors. And if the real thing was out of reach financially for some show goers – there were the more affordable model variety on sale as well.
