The industry and car show for the trade

Hamilton (Mystery Creek Venue) 10-12 November 2023

Autorama 2023 is an automotive trade and car show. It uniquely brings together the auto trade businesses that supply the machinery, tools and parts to the Special Interest automotive sector. A well-equipped workshop enables the build, modification and maintenance of the cars that we love so much.

The team at Autorama recognises that when most people look at muscle cars, hot rods, modified Japanese/ European, classic or competition cars that have had thousands of hours, blood, sweat, and tears poured into them, very few see the businesses that have been the backbone of the build and a part of the journey. Autorama aims to celebrate those people and products that supported the workshops, or the car owners directly, to the end.

The businesses who sold the tools that assembled the car, rebuilt the transmission, sold the specialised machines and workshop equipment, reconditioned, tuned and set up the computer program of that engine. They massaged the metal of the body and had the skills and equipment required to mix and apply modern paints. They need to be celebrated.

Many car enthusiasts start off with a blank canvas and are unsure of where to turn when they require specialised skills or parts for their own projects – Autorama is the opportunity to exhibit and promote your business to new customers and reinforce your brand to existing ones. The Pro-builders section at the show is where professional car restorers, constructors, and performance gurus get to showcase their talents. From the front of a car to the back, these legends show us how it is done in the flesh. They all use machinery, tools or parts to get the cars finished.

A conservative 12,000 people are expected to pass through the gates at Autorama 2023 to view the exhibits, cars on show, and make important purchasing decisions that will help shape their build, and they want to buy from exhibiting businesses. They want to be inspired.

Statistically, around 40 percent of show attendees are looking to buy tools at a show, 30 percent will buy car care products, and about 30 percent are thinking about switching up their wheels/ tyres in the next 12 months. A further 20 percent are looking for performance parts, so the range of opportunity for exhibitors and the purchasing public is huge.
Businesses are getting behind this annual event so if a business has any interest in participating, it’s important to talk to the Autorama team now.
