A new and competitively priced Hunter tyre changer has been introduced to the New Zealand market by Stocks Equipment.

The new Hunter TCX52 is a heavy-duty, high-performance, Italian-made, tilt-column 22-inch tyre changer that sells for only $6,150 plus GST.

“That’s a great price for a tyre changer that has all the great features that New Zealand tyre outlets are looking for,” says William Singleton, general manager of Stocks Equipment.

Built in Italy to Hunter’s exacting standards, the TCX52 combines American technology with European production flair and eye for detail.

As the latest member of Hunter's range of table-top tyre changers, the TCX52 features a fast and familiar conventional table-top clamping style with PowerOut bead breakers that provide tremendous power and control, simplifying the mounting and demounting processes. It’s fast and simple to use.

Like the recently introduced TCX54, this new TCX52 tyre changer has a bead blaster tank fitted to the back of the machine, which provides air to the turntable. It comes with a 230V single phase motor, which negates the need to provide expensive three-phase power.

As with the TCX54, it has the same left hand or right bead press (help arm) options. There are two help arm options offered to customers in New Zealand by Stocks Equipment to assist tyres shops to more easily accommodate low profile tyres.

The choice includes Hunter’s usual bead press system on the left hand side, with two disc-style mounting rollers with a cam and a lifting disc, or the traditional New Zealand right-hand-side help arm, with a mount head roller and bead press with a lifting disc. The breaker pad is also fixed, so no issues with undue movement during tyre changing operations.

The new TCX52 complements the other Hunter tyre changer models carried by Stocks Equipment, led by the top of the range model, the Revolution, the world’s first truly fully automatic tyre changer the, which also extends to the industry-leading Hunter wheel aligners and Hunter wheel balancers which have recently been reduced in price due to the strength of the NZ dollar.

Other Hunter tyre changer models includes the TCX56 (non-leverless) and TCX57 (leverless), both of which have a clamping range of six inches (15cm) to 30 inches (76cm), as they have standard clamping accessories that extends the range to 30 inchesor reduces to only six Inches.

These TCX models are made for Hunter in collaboration with the no. 1 manufacturer of Italian-made tyre changers, but are strengthened and modified to Hunter Engineering’s strict standards and come with a full three-year Warranty. All Hunter tyre changers are designed to eliminate damage to alloy wheel rims.
