Why do you need Cabin Air Filters?
Good ventilation of interior spaces is important as external air contains a range of airborne contaminants, which are often worse in the typical vehicle operating environments. The vehicle ventilation system forces this air through the cabin. Further contaminants are introduced inside from passengers and cargo including bacteria and viruses.

A lot of owners are not even aware that their vehicle has a cabin air filter, so repairers need to be part of the education process, even vehicles that do not have them fitted from new may have provision to fit them. Having a top-quality cabin air filter will significantly reduce these contaminants, which can include dust and dirt, pollens, mould, odours, bacteria and viruses.

Why choose Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filters?
Ryco’s new N99 MicroShield Cabin Filter range is designed to exceed OE specifications. The N99 medical grade media (superior to that in the typical N95 mask), provides increased filtering of airborne contaminants down to 0.3 microns, making it the medical grade facemask for your vehicles interior air flow. The new filters have up to 500 times the efficiency of catching sub1-micron particles than regular cabin air filters. There is 60 percent more media surface to offset any restriction from this higher efficiency media. 3D scanning has also been used to improve the fit and sealing of the new filters, preventing further contamination through the cabin application.

Triple Layer Protection
Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filters consist of three levels of protection against biological contaminants.
1. Poly-phenol anti-viral layer with natural poly-phenol extracts eliminate virus (H1N1 and H3N2), bacteria, mould and fungi, and allergens.
2. Activated carbon acts as an odour and gas absorption/barrier.
3. Medical grade melt-blown electro-statically charged layer filters down to 0.3 micron.

Why choose NAPA Cabin Air Filters?
• NAPA Anti-Viral Carbon Cabin Filters are carbon activated filters which offer five layers of protection.
• They have an application of a layer of anti-bacterial coating to help prevent viruses such as Influenza Type A and other, bacteria, mould and fungus from entering and growing in a vehicle’s cabin.
• Built on an activated carbon base to prevent harmful gases and nasty odours from entering a vehicle’s cabin filtration.
• Filtration efficiency of 0.3 of a micron.

For all your filtration needs and for more information contact your local NAPA branch on 0800 800 073.
