Ex SEMA ambassador to talk at Autorama

Friday is “VIP Business Day” at Autorama. It’s the opportunity to look for your next B2B relationship. Come and talk to exhibitors and discuss how your business may add value to theirs, and listen to how their business may benefit you. There are challenges for all business owners so working together may unlock new products and a new customer base. Take the opportunity to explore new ideas, products, services, grow your business and make new friends.

Autorama confirms an international keynote speaker for the Exhibitor and VIP seminar on Friday 10 November.
What can NZ automotive business operating in the special interest vehicle (SIV) sector learn from a past SEMA ambassador? Rick Love went from hotrodder to industry ambassador. He is an inductee to the Speciality Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Hall of Fame and is currently the President of Vintage Air, one of the largest aftermarket manufacturers of special interest vehicle (SIV) air conditioning systems.

Rick has been involved in the Hot Rod Alliance Association (HRIA) and helped advance education programs for young and upcoming SIV business owners through his time at SEMA.

He is very clear that membership in SEMA has allowed businesses to build relationships with each other and create a line of communication with policy makers and politicians. That communication channel has enabled the voices of business owners to be heard. Alignment with each other has helped specialist automotive businesses have a strong voice over many years which has proven to be critical in the current environment of climate change challenges and discussions with politicians and law makers.

The Special Interest Vehicle Manufacturers and Suppliers (SIVMAS) group will be soft launched at Autorama. It is an extension of the Special Interest Vehicle Association of NZ (SIVANZ); SIVANZ has been lobbying government and agencies for six years on behalf of its individual membership.

To find out more about SIVANZ or SIVMAS email contact@sivanz.co.nz.

As a special bonus, the Autorama team has two double passes to Super Cars in Taupo (2024) to give away. Attend the Rick Love seminar and be in with a chance to win.

Come and hear Rick speak on Friday 10 November; 12.30 to 1.30pm.
