Cost effective high tech LED beacons

Diesel Industry News

A range of new, high-tech, LED flashing beacons delivers high performance without breaking the bank.

More compact than other alternatives in the market, the Eurotech beacons provide an affordable solution for high quality light output and durability for use on service vehicles, around construction/mining sites and in manufacturing/distribution locations.

A benefit of using the latest Eurotech beacons is their ability to perform two light functions in one, being able to both flash and rotate, and offering the option of six adjustable flash patterns thanks to advanced LED technology. And, because they are constructed to Class 1 performance parameters, the lights are highly visible, even in strong sunlight.

“Eurotech beacons perform exceptionally well in all conditions, especially on very bright days, when it can be hard to see some flashing lights – but these easily stand out,” according to Tim Paterson sales manager with Narva New Zealand, which distributes the Eurotech range in New Zealand.

“They also have the advantage of European design, so they look very good, in addition to performing well.”
Another advantage of Narva’s Eurotech is that they meet the heavy vehicle regulation 2013, number 77, making them suitable for on-road use.

Buyers can choose from two sizes, a low profile option (P/No. 85254A) and a standard height (P/No. 85260A) alternative, both available with a flange base. The flange base units allow alternative and synchronised operation of up to four strobe units.

The low profile option is also available in two additional mounting configurations: a magnetic base (P/No. 85258A), which features a 12/24V cigarette plug with an on/off switch and pattern selector for easy scroll through operation, or a flexible pipe mounting base (P/No. 85256A) with a DIN style connection.

With a non-volatile memory, the beacon recalls the last flash pattern used, so there is no need to set up a preferred pattern after it has been turned off each time. The flash pattern adjustment switch makes changing patterns convenient and easy.

Modern optic technology featured in the lamp’s design magnifies the light output, creating a powerful, solid and seamless projection of light that meets the SAE Class 1 rating.

Boasting reverse polarity protection, fully sealed (IP65) solid state circuitry and virtually unbreakable polycarbonate lenses, the Eurotech L.E.D beacons offer outstanding shock and vibration resistance.

Eurotech beacons are available from leading automotive and transport outlets throughout New Zealand.
