BNT lubricants program – supporting your business

Parts

The BNT oil program features three high-quality, recognised oil brands: Fuchs, Castrol, and BNT’s own brand, Superiol. More importantly, it provides strong support to workshop partners in selecting the optimal range of lubricants, helping them create a point of difference for their customers, and ensuring they meet the specific requirements of the vehicles they service.

BNT National Lubricants Manager Bevan Killian said, “Our aim is to form strong consultative partnerships with workshops that use our products. The feedback we’ve received indicates that the market is looking for a supply partner and oil range that is consistent, reliable, and suited not only to the workshop’s needs but also to those of their customers. Our comprehensive oil program allows us to deliver just that.”

OEM lubricant requirements are constantly evolving, which means that New Zealand aftermarket workshops must regularly review their stocked oil ranges to meet required OEM approvals, emission standards, and fuel efficiency requirements. Given the current economic conditions, workshops are particularly focused on supply partners who can help them navigate these oil benchmarks. Ideally, they’d prefer to stock fewer oil grades that cover a wider range of vehicles in the NZ market, all in one drum. For instance, many workshops are shifting to lower viscosity 5W30 and 0W30 lubricants as their primary engine oils, with smaller packs for newer vehicles that are trending towards 0W20.

With its own exceptional own brand and the additional Global lubricant brands in its portfolio, BNT will recommend a suitable range, with consideration taken for the geographical area and typical range of vehicles serviced.

For example, if a workshop services a high percentage of newer vehicles, Manufacturer Approvals may be a key factor. If there is a high ratio of European vehicles, that might suggest a different line-up. BNT’s local teams are available to provide this tailored advice.

BNT offers three brands to suit your needs:

Fuchs: A global brand with German roots for over 90 years, Fuchs offers trusted OEM approvals and advanced technology, ensuring that your customers receive the highest performance and reliability for their vehicles. This allows you to consolidate your lubricant stocking requirements, ultimately saving you money. BNT has been bringing this range to the NZ automotive trade for over 25 years.

 • Castrol: With a history spanning more than 125 years, Castrol is a recognized global brand offering a comprehensive range of OEM-approved automotive and commercial lubricant solutions. BNT stocks and distributes a wide range of Castrol products, including engine oils, transmission fluids, hydraulic fluids, and greases, across all pack sizes to ensure maximum coverage of New Zealand’s diverse vehicle fleet.

 • Superiol: Our own house brand, Superiol, is blended to extremely high-quality standards. The Superiol range offers a broad spectrum of key lubricants tailored to meet the specific demands of different engines, suitable for both passenger and commercial vehicles. Whether it’s maximising fuel economy in city traffic or withstanding the rigors of long-haul transportation, Superiol has the right engine oil to maintain the reliability and longevity of vehicles in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
