Bendix’s tips for extending brake life

Bendix’s tips for extending brake life

Parts

Bendix is now better resourced to meet the aftermarket braking needs of two of Australia’s best-selling cars, the 2.0L petrol variant of Toyota Corolla from 2018 onwards, and the late model Yaris Cross from 2020 onwards.

These two vehicles are now catered for under Bendix’s General CT brake pads, which are suitable for a wide range of everyday driving conditions. The CT range features proven compounds that deliver reliable and secure stopping performance, coupled with a smooth and consistent pedal feel.

New brake pads have also been released to suit Mitsubishi Outlander from 2021 to current, and for the new 2023 Nissan Qashqai. The latest releases for these models are covered under Bendix’s 4WD/SUV range, which is specially developed for four-wheel-drives and SUVs, for use in both on and off-road applications.

Range extensions
Several exciting range extensions also form part of Bendix’s April releases – these include Euro+ disc rotors for the popular BMW 1 Series (2012 to 2019), and for 2011 to 2018 model 3 Series.

The Euro+ range is designed and manufactured to meet the needs of premium European marques including BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen and others, offering a proven, high performing aftermarket alternative to OE components.

Drivers of the sporty Volkswagen Golf GTI and R-Line (MK7 and MK7.5), will also be pleased to learn that these performance hatches are now catered to under Bendix’s Ultimate+ brake pad range. Ultimate+ feature high friction ceramic compounds for added stopping power (up to 25 percent greater than OE components), coupled with reduced brake fade during spirited driving. The low dust compound also means drivers can spend more time enjoying their vehicles rather than washing their wheels.

Rounding out the latest Bendix additions is wider availability of Bendix Ultimate 4WD disc brake pads for Toyota Fortuner (2015 onwards) and Ultimate 4WD brake shoes for a broader range of Utes and four-wheel drive vehicles including variants from Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Ford, Holden and Volkswagen.
