Automechanika Frankfurt

Other

The bi-annual Automeckanika in Frankfurt is without argument the largest trade fair for the Automotive Industry. Motor Equipment News has previously visited the fair three times previously and will be attending this year’s show which is being held from September 11 to 16.

According to Motor Equipment News publisher Cathy Parker, visitors can seriously expect to wear out some shoe leather with at least three full days needed if they wish to cover every part of the show, which spreads over more than 300,000 sqm of Messe Frankfurt’s exhibition space.

There will be more than 4500 exhibitors and more than 150,000 visitors in 2012, according to Messe Frankfurt. Amongst this years exhibitors will be three Kiwi companies: Proform Plastics, Airplex and Prorack (now part of the Yakima group).

This is a great opportunity for those people involved in the New Zealand automotive trade to keep up with the latest developments in products, services, tools and equipment.
The exhibits cover automotive parts and systems both OEM and aftermarket, accessories and tuning, repair and maintenance (especially tools and workshop equipment) with a large refinishing section (see more on page 28 Panel and Paint), IT and management and the service station and car wash sector. Full details can be found in the digital visitor’s brochure www.messelogo.de/au/digibesucher/gb/index.html .
