Australian Clutch Services continues ClutchPro accessories expansion

News

Australian Clutch Services is one of the largest clutch manufacturers and suppliers in the Southern Hemisphere. Based in South Australia, ACS is the parent company of ClutchPro, Xtreme Clutch, Xtreme Outback, ClutchPro Commercial and AG Clutch, which are distributed throughout New Zealand by BNT. With over 30 years of experience in the clutch market, the ACS range covers standard replacement, performance street, motorsport, agricultural and heavy duty 4x4 upgrades to suit thousands of applications.

ACS has been exporting kits around the world for over a decade and has become renowned for offering quality and performance. The Xtreme Clutch performance street and motorsport range as well as the Xtreme Outback 4x4 range is sold throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australasia. ACS also has a completely separate performance brand exclusively for the US market. Despite the popularity of the performance brands around the world, the ClutchPro brand is still the largest for the group and has been developed specifically to support the trade.

The ClutchPro range covers complete standard replacement clutch kits for passenger car, 4x4 and light commercial and includes a comprehensive range of replacement components including dual-mass and single-mass flywheels, hydraulics, tools, guide tubes, clutch forks and bearings. A major new development for the range over the past several years has been its focus on Dual Clutch Transmission kits, components and even specialty installation tools. ClutchPro also incorporate medium to heavy commercial kits and components under the ClutchPro Commercial brand.

Having developed the range over three decades and with constant review of the latest in clutch technology and coverage, the ClutchPro brand offers a wide range of standard replacement clutch kits and components for over 7000 applications. ClutchPro incorporate a variety of different clutch solutions including complete replacement kits for European, Australian, Japanese, American, Chinese and Korean applications.

With an emphasis on providing the complete clutch solution, ClutchPro kits are developed with options to incorporate all of the components that are required by the installer such as replacement dual-mass or single-mass flywheels, hydraulics, bolts and spline grease. Additionally, all kits in the ClutchPro Plus programme include an alignment tool and replacement spigot bearing/bush where required.

“The ClutchPro Plus programme has been hugely popular in the market,” says Colin Jevons, Australian Clutch Services Sales Manager. “We always recommend replacing a pilot bearing or bush when replacing the clutch, and an alignment tool is a great way to speed up the installation time and avoid damage to the friction disc. Therefore, it makes sense for us to include these items in the ClutchPro Plus range to help our customers throughout Australasia.”

ClutchPro Plus now covers over 190 of the most popular kits across the ClutchPro range. “We have targeted the most popular kits for the ClutchPro Plus programme to ensure we are covering key kits for the Australasian market,” explains Colin. “This programme, combined with our commitment to quality, range and technical support, helps installers with installation efficiency.”

ClutchPro has recently seen a major range increase in accessories and components including hydraulics, flywheels, clutch forks, cables, guide tubes and specialist dual clutch transmission components. “Our accessories range is constantly expanding and we are always reviewing our range and technological changes in the market to ensure our customers have access to the components they need to complete the job.”
