The Expo was held over three days in April at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and was co-located with the Collision Repair Expo.

Motor Equipment News had not attended the Expo since before the Covid pandemic and based on the number of other Kiwis on our flight this seemed to be a common theme with many taking the opportunity to catch up on new technology.

The Expo had an extensive range of seminars and training programs including business and a technical Streams. There were also additional sessions in the Collision Repair area, EV servicing and ADAS zones.

The organisers report over 13,000 visitors over the three days and over 4000 exhibitors including a good number of overseas companies.

Stuart Charity, CEO of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) said, “I am incredibly excited about the success of the 2024 Auto Aftermarket Expo and Collision Repair Expo. The vibe was electric in the packed halls, and feedback from visitors has been off the charts. The number and quality of exhibitors was amazing, as was the popularity of our expanded training programs and features. Expo ’24 was a truly remarkable and extremely valuable trade event.”
