AlloyGators can enhance your car and your business

Do you want a point of difference in your store? Do you want a unique selling point for your tyre or tyre fitting business? Or maybe you want to enhance your general workshop profitability by providing your customers a fantastic new product? A new offering from Alloygator NZ may be just what you are looking for.
AlloyGator is a wheel protection system designed to help minimize kerb damage on impact. The AlloyGator product is made of a super tough nylon which is flexible, but is tough enough to give superior protection against scuffing pavements and the like.
Says Alloygator NZ’s distributor  Aaron Warner: “Alloygators give our dealers/installers the ability to enhance their existing services and attract new customers. We are looking to grow the network of installers nationwide and are offering exclusivity to interested dealers in their respective areas.”
“The installers we have already are finding that the AlloyGators are definitely bringing in new business from word-of-mouth. We had one dealer supply a customer with a set, which then turned in to five more sales after friends and family had seen the product on his car.”
Unlike some other wheel enhancers on the market, which are merely stuck onto the rim, the AlloyGators fit between the tyre and the rim where they are held on by air pressure. And the nylon material is tough and durable, unlike the plastic used on some other products.
There are 15 different colours to choose from, with black and red the most popular colours – and not only do the AlloyGators protect new rims, they can also cover existing kerb damage, leaving the car looking like new – an enhancement car dealers may find less costly than the price of repairing wheels which have been slightly damaged, and without the downtime while wheels are away for repair.
What’s more, the AlloyGators can be removed and refitted when tyres require replacing, or with puncture repairs.
Two sizes and profiles are available – 13 inch to 21 inch, and 12 inch to 24 inch, with a retail price of $170 and $240 respectively per set of four incl. GST, with a recommended fitting cost of $60.
Aaron says dealers will be appointed on an exclusive basis for each town or area, with the eventual intention to provide nationwide representation.
He is based at Goodyear Fitzroy & Alloygator NZ, 41 Beach St, Fitzroy, New Plymouth, and can be contacted at 06 758 5541, or 027 445 4120, or email at gascfitzroy@xtra.co.nz.
