Why do you need hybrid and ev vehicle battery air filters?

Most Hybrid (HEV), PHEV and EV (BEV) vehicles use air cooling for battery temperature management. Heat is one of the biggest enemies of battery life and significant heat is generated in the battery during recharging, so ensuring adequate cooling enhances the efficiency, longevity, and reliability of the battery pack. These types of vehicles will have a high voltage (HV) battery cooler filter mounted upstream of the traction battery cooling fan. These filters remove air and contaminants meaning only clean cool air is circulated.

Why choose Ryco hybrid EV vehicle battery air filters?

Ryco’s hybrid battery air filters are made to protect hybrid vehicle battery systems by filtering and removing dust and contaminants before they enter the battery cooling system. This ensures only clean cool air is passed through the cell blocks. The filters are specially designed for New Zealand and Australian conditions and filter out fine dust and dirt that you can’t see.
The filters are made from a flame-retardant synthetic media with high dust holding capacity.
The Ryco vehicle battery air-filters cover a range of common Toyota and Lexus hybrid vehicles including Prius, Corolla, Camry and RAV4 amongst others.
